Dr Sep Tabatabaee has completed a three-year orthodontic training (in addition to his dental qualifications) at the University of Queensland where he obtained a Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry in Orthodontics.

Dr Sep Tabatabaee
Orthodontist DDS. DClinDent (Orth), MRACDS (Orth), MORTH (Edinburgh)
Dr Sep Tabatabaee has completed a three-year orthodontic training (in addition to his dental qualifications) at the University of Queensland where he obtained a Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry in Orthodontics.
He successfully finished UK qualification exams (MOrth) in 2015 and became a member of Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Dr Sep currently holds the position of Senior Lecturer in Orthodontics at Griffith University, teaching orthodontics to future dentists.
Dr Sep has published in different fields in dentistry including periodontics and endodontics (European Endodontic Journal) and presented his research in orthodontics at the International Association for Dental Research conference (IADR) in 2015.
He regularly attends local and international conferences and belongs to several dental study groups.
Sep enjoys his spare time with his family and friends. If there is any time left, playing tennis, watching a sci-fi movie, or reading a thriller would be next on the list.

How would we manage our patients without our Oral Health Therapists?
At Wired Orthodontics, we are fortunate to have skilled Oral Health Therapists (OHTs) leading our entire clinical team, supporting patients throughout their treatment journey while taking on clinical procedures such as exams, braces and Invisalign fitting, adjustments and removals. With extensive university training and ongoing professional development, our therapists remain at the forefront of knowledge and expertise.
Our gentle and experienced team of OHTs, with their proficiency in clinical orthodontics, examinations, treatments, and preventive care, is dedicated to making your orthodontic journey smooth. Their positive approach to oral health is highly valued by all our patients.
Cathy Yoon
Oral Health Therapist (BOralH UQ) / Treatment Coordinator
Cathy received her Bachelor of Oral Health degree at the University of Queensland. She takes an individualised approach to all fields of dentistry for her patients to prevent dental complications and to improve their quality of life.
Cathy also spends her spare time doing volunteer activities to reach populations with higher dental needs, whenever there is an opportunity to.
When Cathy is not busy at work, she enjoys playing sports, hiking, and singing in a small social band. She also loves travelling and exposing herself to new cultures. Cathy is also an accomplished Korean speaker, hence is very happy to assist patients who prefer to communicate in Korean.
She has also had both braces and Invisalign® treatments with Wired Orthodontics!
Alissa Lu
Oral Health Therapist (BOH) / Treatment Coordinator
Alissa graduated with the Bachelor of Oral Health at the University of Queensland. She loves the fast-paced nature of orthodontics and the joy it can bring to people when they achieve their ‘perfect smile’!
During Alissa’s spare time, she loves to climb at her local bouldering gym, hiking, playing board games, watching horror movies, cooking, and trying out new food joints. She also loves travelling and all the adventures that come with it.
Alissa can speak Mandarin and Taiwanese, hence is very happy to assist patients who prefer to communicate in those languages.
Liz Jones
Dental Hygienist GradDip Dental Hyg/Ther (Leeds UK)
Liz qualified in the UK as a Hygienist and Therapist in 2006. She moved to Australia with her family 10 years ago and has been working as a hygienist in both Sydney and Brisbane. Liz loves the fast pace of orthodontics and seeing the amazing changes that develop over the patient's journey with us.
In her spare time (when Liz is not busy with her two young children and numerous animals), she enjoys travelling and running.

Dental Assistant / Treatment Coordinator
Naseem has been working in the orthodontic industry for over 9 years. She thoroughly enjoys the patient interaction at Wired Orthodontics. She has been working with the lovely team for the past 4 years, which she comments she is very grateful for!
In her spare time, she is busy making home décor items for her home, constantly changing up things and renovating. She also loves cooking and spending her weekends outdoors at the beach in the sun.
Beverly
Front Office / Treatment Coordinator
Beverly is an all-rounder at Wired Orthodontics and has been in the orthodontic industry since 2021. She loves working within our team environment but especially loves the confident smiles from our patients.
She is passionate about dancing and enjoys spending time with her partner, friends, and family. You will always find her eating sushi.
Natasha
Dental Assistant / Treatment Coordinator
Tash started her Dentistry journey in 2022. She is a quick learner and has become very flexible in learning different roles as a Dental Assistant, Receptionist, and Treatment Coordinator. We can always rely on Tash to provide our patients with a friendly service.
Most of the time you will find her four-wheel driving on the beach in the car she loves so much. Tash’s bucket list is filled with many different adventures all over the world as she is an adrenaline junkie. One day she would love to own a German shepherd and corgi.

Front Office Coordinator
Allison has been with Wired Orthodontics since February 2020. She has worked in the Orthodontic Industry for over 13 years and has worked in the Dental field for most of her life. She even worked in England as a dental assistant for a while.
Allison loves spending time with her husband, especially now that all of their children have grown up and left home. She also loves cooking, reading, sewing, and painting and renovating.
